The PTC Group, represented by employee-runners from its various business units and partner companies, proudly participated in the 17th FAME Fun Run 2026 held on June 20 at Parqal in Aseana City, Parañaque. Organized around the theme “Fit for Duty, Fit for Life,” the annual event brought together members of the maritime community in promoting health, wellness, and resilience among maritime professionals.

The participation of the PTC Group reflects its continuing commitment to supporting initiatives that encourage active and healthy lifestyles. By fostering wellness both on shore and at sea, the organization helps contribute to the safety, readiness, and overall well-being of seafarers who play a vital role in global trade and commerce.

Adding to the excitement of the event, runners from various maritime companies visited the PTC and Jebsen PTC booths, where they received free bottles of Del Monte Fit ’n Right after following the companies’ Facebook and Instagram pages. The booths served as a welcoming space for participants to recharge, refresh, and connect with exciting career opportunities, making the event a meaningful celebration of health, camaraderie, and industry engagement.

From first strides to the finish line, our PTC Group runners brought energy, determination, and plenty of memorable moments to this year’s FAME Fun Run. FAME Run reminded me that life is not just about reaching the finish line first. It is about the journey, the lessons learned, and the person we become along the way.

• Trust your own pace – Everyone has a different timeline and purpose in life. Focus on your progress rather than comparing yourself with others.
• Growth comes through challenges. – Struggles and failures often teach us more than success, making us stronger and more resilient.
• Preparation determines performance – Just as training is essential before a race, hard work and preparation are key to succeeding in life and at work.
• Stay humble – No matter how well we perform, there will always be someone better or faster. Humility keeps us grounded and open to learning.
• Be grateful but keep improving – appreciate how far you have come while continuously striving to become a better version of yourself.
