The PTC Group extends its warmest congratulations to Museo del Galeón on its successful inauguration on April 23 at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. This milestone marks the opening of a new cultural landmark that celebrates the Philippines’ rich maritime heritage and its vital role in global exchange. Designed as an immersive and educational experience, the museum brings history to life—offering visitors a deeper appreciation of the country’s enduring connection to the seas.

At the heart of the museum is the Galeón Espíritu Santo, a full-scale reconstruction of a 17th-century ship originally built in Cavite in 1603. This remarkable centerpiece represents more than 250 years of the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade, underscoring the Philippines’ significant contribution to global commerce and cultural exchange. Through its cutting-edge exhibits, Museo del Galeon stands as a bridge between past and present—connecting generations through a shared maritime legacy.

The inauguration was graced by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos alongside the museum’s Board of Trustees, continuing the vision of the late Senator Edgardo J. Angara, who believed that the oceans serve not as barriers, but as links between nations and cultures.
