During the discussion, the two organizations shared their respective programs and experiences in supporting the maritime community. AVP Macalintal and Ms. Hernandez highlighted FCR’s life skills programs and family-centered initiatives designed to promote the holistic well-being of seafarers and their loved ones. Both parties also exchanged insights on the challenges encountered in working with seafarers and their families, reaffirming their shared commitment to helping them build stronger, more resilient family relationships while navigating the demands of a maritime career. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to collaborate on meaningful values formation programs that will further enhance the emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of seafarers and their families.
