In celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, PTC, through its RTD Team, took part in the Kalayaan Job Fair held on June 12, 2026, at SM City San Lazaro. The event was organized by the Department of Labor and Employment–National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR), through its Manila Field Office (MFO), in partnership with the Manila Public Employment Service Office (PESO), bringing together jobseekers and employers in a large-scale employment facilitation initiative.
The job fair featured more than 50 participating employers from various sectors, including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Manufacturing, Construction, Food Service, Wholesale and Retail Trade, and other service industries. In total, over 5,631 local and overseas employment opportunities were made available, drawing in more than 4,000 jobseekers who actively explored career prospects and engaged with participating companies, including PTC.
As part of the broader government initiative to streamline employment services, the event also featured a One-Stop-Shop with partner agencies on-site, providing convenient access to essential government services. These included the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), PhilHealth, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
Through its participation in the Kalayaan Job Fair 2026, PTC reaffirmed its support for national employment initiatives and for connecting Filipino jobseekers with meaningful local and international career opportunities.
