PTC reaffirmed its commitment to ocean stewardship through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with One Earth, One Ocean (OEOO) on January 30, 2026, at First Maritime Place. The agreement was signed by PTC COO Beng Cristobal and OEOO President Daniel Scheler, marking a renewed partnership grounded in shared purpose and long-term impact.

As an established maritime company, PTC brings deep expertise across ship management, crewing, regulatory compliance, and safe vessel operations. OEOO complements this with its work in marine research, education, environmental advocacy, and sustainability-driven programs that protect marine ecosystems and empower communities.

Central to the collaboration are the two (2) research and advocacy vessels owned and operated by PTC as part of its fleet. These vessels support marine research and is also actively deployed to collect trash from Manila Bay and nearby bodies of water—helping reduce marine pollution at its source.

This partnership with OEOO reflects PTC’s enduring commitment to sustainability and to helping protect and restore our oceans—today, and for generations to come.
