PTC Inc. and Jebsen PTC Maritime Inc. held their first Nationwide Recruitment Day on February 6 and 7, 2026, bringing in more than 1,500 pre-registered applicants across the country.

Organized by the PTC Talent Acquisition Group, the two-day event took place at the companies’ offices in Makati, Cebu, and Iloilo, as well as at Robinsons Cagayan de Oro. Applicants explored opportunities to work onboard cargo and cruise vessels, with around 700 applicants completing initial screening and interviews on the various PTC sites.

The strong turnout reflects the continued interest in maritime careers in the Philippines and highlights the PTC Group’s ongoing efforts to connect qualified seafarers with global opportunities.

The Talent Acquisition Group planned and rolled out PTC’s First Nationwide Recruitment Day to make the hiring process more accessible by bringing recruitment activities closer to applicants in key regions. By opening multiple venues at the same time, PTC and Jebsen PTC were able to reach a wider pool of candidates and speed up processing for priority roles.

The initiative supports the Group’s long-term focus on building a steady pipeline of skilled maritime professionals. By investing in people and strengthening recruitment channels nationwide, PTC and Jebsen PTC continue to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the maritime sector.
