The Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training, Inc. (PHILCAMSAT) has been given Preliminary Recognition as compliant with the Flag Administration’s Program for Liberian Course Completion Certificates.

STCW requirements mandate that all Maritime Training Institutes comply fully with STCW Regulations 1/6 and 1/8, which PHILCAMSAT has met with MARINA’s approval.

PHILCAMSAT is now authorized to submit Liberian Course Completion Certificates for seafarers who have successfully completed the required training. Once submitted, a Liberian Course Completion Certificate is issued and may be used by the seafarer to submit to the Liberian Administration for an equivalent Liberian special qualification.

This Preliminary Recognition shall be valid for a six-month period from January 29, 2026, until July 29, 2026.
