Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTC) played an active and visible role at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) Grand Alumni Homecoming held on January 24, 2026. With the theme “Through Tides and Times,” the event gathered more than 800 alumni and their families, creating an ideal platform for reconnecting with seasoned maritime professionals and engaging the next generation of talent.

PTC’s booth stood out as one of the event’s main attractions, serving as both a talent engagement hub and a brand showcase. Alumni and guests were keen to learn about current career opportunities and were introduced to the broader scope of The PTC Group, many discovering for the first time how the organization has grown beyond its traditional maritime roots.

Representatives from PTC’s Recruitment and Training Department (RTD), Talent Acquisition Group (TAG), and PHILCAMSAT were on hand to speak directly with those who stopped by and visited PTC’s booth.

To encourage engagement, the booth also featured interactive games and giveaways that drew steady foot traffic throughout the event. These activities created a relaxed setting for meaningful conversations, allowing PTC representatives to connect with alumni not only as potential candidates but also as brand advocates and industry partners.

PTC’s participation in the PMMA Grand Alumni Homecoming highlighted its continued commitment to the maritime community. Beyond celebrating shared heritage, the event allowed PTC to strengthen its employer brand, identify talent, and reaffirm its role as a trusted partner in developing Filipino maritime professionals.
