RSE Foundation Inc. (RSEFI) successfully supported a Hot Meals Distribution for the fire incident survivors at Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila, in collaboration with ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya and DZMM Teleradyo, on June 02, 2026.
The activity significantly benefited 600 families currently at the Delpan Evacuation Center, who were devastated by the fire incident last May 23. Despite proactive efforts and support from the Manila City local government unit, the families might still stay for a longer period in the evacuation center as they rebuild their homes.

ABS-CBN Foundation, through the Sagip Kapamilya program, and DZMM Teleradyo, provided the hot meals for 3,000 individuals. RSE Foundation provided the drinking water.
ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya Program Manager AK Miranda expressed gratitude for their activity partners. “We are thankful both to DZMM Teleradyo and RSE Foundation for their unparalleled commitment and unwavering dedication to provide support for families displaced and devastated by the fire incident in Parola Compound. We hope this could somehow alleviate any hardships they are currently experiencing, on their way to rebuilding the homes lost in the fire.”
DZMM Teleradyo Media Coordinator Mr. Paul Bea, together with veteran anchor Winnie Cordero, assisted in the hot meals distribution.
The Manila City Department of Social Welfare, represented by Mr. Mark Abaya, was thankful to all the partners involved in making this activity possible. “The Parola Compound fire incident severely affected 2,134 families in total, 600 families of which are still staying here in Delpan Evacuation Center. Although disheartening, we are helping these families to rebuild their lives. Partners like Sagip Kapamilya, DZMM Teleradyo, and RSE Foundation help inspire them to move forward through their support.”
RSE Foundation, true to its tagline, “From Response to Resilience,” actively supports communities that were significantly affected by hazards and disasters through the Rapid Relief and Recovery (R3) program, which provides humanitarian relief in the form of relief packs, hot meals, and hygiene kits to families in evacuation centers.
RSEFI R3 program has also been seeking like-minded collaborators, organizations, and partners who can also extend disaster relief support in any form they can, to help disaster-affected families not only rebuild but also build back better.
This activity was featured in the DZMM Teleradyo live broadcast on June 02, 2026, where veteran anchor Winnie Cordero shared the situation in the Delpan Evacuation Center.
