One Earth One Ocean (OEOO) Manila, and the PTC Group, through PTC Ship Management, once again came together in a shared commitment to marine environmental protection during the Coastal Cleanup held at Dolomite Beach, Manila Bay. The activity formed part of the celebration of the 28th Anniversary of the Philippine Coast Guard’s Marine Environmental Protection Command (MEPCOM), as well as the birthday of its Commander, Rear Admiral Rommel Supangan, PCG. The gathering highlighted a strong spirit of collaboration among partners dedicated to safeguarding Philippine waters and promoting cleaner coastal ecosystems.

The partnership between OEOO and PTC is anchored on a shared mission focused on marine research, environmental advocacy, and sustainability initiatives. Through this collaboration, research and advocacy vessels operated by PTC support marine studies and actively participate in the collection of marine debris in Manila Bay and surrounding waters. These efforts contribute to reducing marine pollution, improving water quality, and strengthening long-term protection of ocean ecosystems. The initiative also reflects both organizations’ commitment to combining maritime expertise with environmental responsibility.

A key highlight of the activity was the deployment of the newly renamed vessel, SeaKeeper, operated under the continued partnership between OEOO Manila and PTC. During its latest mission, the vessel demonstrated the value of coordinated action in advancing marine conservation efforts, serving as a practical platform for both environmental monitoring and coastal cleanup operations. Its presence at Dolomite Beach underscored how strategic partnerships can translate into meaningful, on-the-ground impact for the environment.
