Kasper Nielsen, Lead for the EME Region and Seafarer Engagement at the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), visited the PTC Group to reinforce ongoing collaboration and introduce new training materials designed to equip seafarers and cadets with the knowledge and confidence to resist corruption at sea. The session highlighted the introduction of MACN’s e-learning modules and real-life case studies that support practical decision-making in challenging situations.

Fighting corruption is especially critical in the maritime industry, where seafarers may encounter demands for facilitation payments, false documentation, or other unethical practices that can jeopardize safety, careers, and the integrity of global trade. By instilling ethical awareness early, beginning with cadets, the industry helps shape professionals who are prepared to uphold the highest standards throughout their careers.
